320 seniors participate
Tiferet Zekeinim is a project of La Fundación de Acción Social de Jabad aimed at adults over 69 years of age, financially supported by the Leticia and Eduardo Azar Foundation.
Its main objective is to contribute to the empowerment of the elderly within the Argentine Jewish community. It functions as both a productive and study center.
The project began in July 2022 with 30 participants and currently has 320.
Participants attend the center twice a week for three hours a day, engaging in various productive activities. These activities include assembling first-aid kits, snack kits, mishloach manot, school supplies kits, bags of products for Pesach and Rosh Hashanah, tablecloths, card games, candle kits, Shabbat kits, accessories for girls, T-shirts, and flavor kits. Seniors receive an allowance for their work.
Everything produced is donated to schools, hospitals, social organizations, soup kitchens, and Jewish institutions.
