The Foundation sponsored a Day of Lifesaving on 28 Iyar, 5782, dedicated to the loving memory of Raphael Hacohen Ben Salha.

On this Day of Lifesaving, over the course of 24 hours, the United Hatzalah Command and Control Center fielded 1,822 emergency calls from volunteers throughout the country. When these calls came in, the dedicated volunteer EMTs halted everything to provide emergency medical intervention to those in need.

This day saw volunteer EMTs responding to a variety of emergencies, including road accidents, cardiac arrests, childbirths, and more.
