By recovering fruits and vegetables that would otherwise be wasted at the Unidad Agroalimentaria Metropolitana (UAM) and on farms due to factors such as shape, size, color, or excess production, Redalco rescues millions of kilograms of produce that would otherwise go to waste in Uruguay. These recovered fruits and vegetables are then distributed to social organizations that prepare meals for those in need.
