The PUPI Foundation was established in 2001 with the aim of working within the framework of the integral protection of the rights of children and adolescents. It was founded by Javier Zanetti and his wife Paula, who envisioned creating a space dedicated to this mission.

The foundation aims to develop an intervention model that supports the growth and development of the most vulnerable sectors. The headquarters are located in Remedios de Escalada, Buenos Aires Province, where they operate the Child Care Center and the “Mother Teresa of Calcutta” Community Cultural Center.
