Yosef Haim Ohana, who survived 738 days in Hamas captivity, shared his story with the community at Menora’s Leticia & Eduardo Azar Youth Campus in Buenos Aires.

He was joined by his father, Avi Ohana, who spoke about the two years he spent waiting for his son’s return, and about how his family lived through that time.
The event featured remarks by Chief Rabbi Isaac Sacca, Rabbi Gabriel Sacca, and Israel’s Ambassador to Argentina, Eyal Sela. Diplomatic representatives and community leaders also took part, along with young members of the community.

The Leticia & Eduardo Azar Foundation supported this Menora initiative as part of its commitment to spaces that strengthen community life and keep memory and testimony alive.
